Frequently asked questions.
How much and how long?
I like to use two expressions to help answer this one.
“Good ain’t cheap, cheap ain’t good”
“Slow is smooth, smooth is fast”
If the only goal is getting people in and out with the cheapest jewelry available, odds are good that the level of care, quality and technique are as well.
I’ve noticed the best work happens while moving slow and steady.
It’s also more relaxing to be in a calm, steady, environment while getting pierced. Creating a better experience overall.

What happens if I’m running late?
We try to be as understanding as possible since sometimes things happen.
Generally speaking there’s a 15min grace period after the scheduled time before the deposit is forfeit.
If there are serious emergencies just touch base and we’ll get it figured out case by case!
Can I use numbing cream?
Numbing isn’t recommended for piercings for several reasons. Primarily due to issues associated with how it affects tissue during and after piercing and concerns based on safety of the product applied outside of the studio.
The sensation of piercing will be very similar with or without ‘numbing’ since it only affects the top layers of skin and doesn’t ‘numb’ the deeper tissue that is being pierced.
If you do arrive to the appointment with numbing applied it will result in loss of deposit for that appointment time and needing to rebook.
I loved it in studio! Now not so much, what can I do?
While I haven’t run into this frequently it truly depends on what is happening.
If there’s something going on make sure to reach out during the first week so we can figure out what is going on. After that point migration, aftercare practices, sleeping on it, etc can drastically affect how a piercing looks and feels.
I’m always happy to make things right if it happened in studio.
Can you send me photos of what jewelry you have?
I’m pretty good about posting photos of my pieces on social media. While that’s not the entire inventory it gives a solid idea of my stock! Plus it’s so much better in person to check out each little treasure and see if there’s one that truly stands out to you.
